Spiritual awakening transforms your life
You often read and watch posts about spiritual awakenings, but most talk about physical symptoms or strange unexplained phenomena that happen to them. In this article, I will explain some of the changes that occur over time that most people don't even consider to be part of the altered consciousness of awakening.
It is a journey inward, a true discovery of yourself, a letting go of the illusion of your ego. In other words, you become the authentic version of yourself - old habits fall away like dried mud and the true version of you is born.
Spiritual awakenings often begin with what is called the dark night of the soul. This is when something so traumatic and strange happens to you that you hit rock bottom, question everything, and reevaluate your life.
This can be done over a longer or shorter period of time, but such an event begins the process. This is not the only way a spiritual awakening can occur, but it is very common.
Another way is just a slow gradual process of enlightenment, where you naturally become aware of things you weren't aware of before.
The third way is that you have a strong desire, triggered by something you read, heard, or saw, or came into contact with someone. These things have a strong impact on you, causing you to change over time. Your patterns, habits, attitudes, morals, and values change.
Because it is gradual, it is a process and happens in stages. Consider yourself lucky if this slow, gradual awakening happens to you, as it feels almost effortless, as your intuition guides you along the way.
Change is usually hard, but with this kind of change, it feels so natural that it doesn't feel like a struggle. You'll probably feel like an awkward teenager, but if you ride the waves instead of fighting them, you'll have a smoother ride.
An in-depth explanation of all the stages of spiritual awakening is beyond the scope of this article, but the things I will write about are included in these stages and happen throughout your entire spiritual awakening, becoming apparent about halfway through.
The effects on your daily life that you will begin to notice are much more gradual and subtle than a single, sustained, full-blown spiritual event, which is why you may not recognize it as an awakening in the initial stages.
Here are the changes that a spiritual awakening will have on your life:
Your taste in the media world will change
If you used to love hard rock music and now find yourself constantly surrounded by Sulfeggio frequencies and gentle meditative music, or if you cringe when you hear lyrics about sex or drugs in a song you grew up listening to, you may be experiencing a spiritual awakening.
If you used to look forward to driving with the windows down and your favorite tunes spinning, but now you don't need the world to hear the latest spiritual episode of the podcast you're listening to in your car, you're probably spiritually awakened.
You may realize that you have a huge collection of spiritual books, even though you never liked to read!
But you may think that watching a movie is a waste of time, unless it is a documentary in which you learn something. You will be mostly moved by horror movies, action movies or anything that has a lot of negativity in it, such as fights, explosions, murders, etc. It is a world of entities and the awareness that this lowers your vibration.
The entertainment industry exists for the sole purpose of entertaining you; in other words, to keep your attention focused on things that don't directly help you in your life. Entertainment, like music, books, movies, and games, is just there to make you feel certain things that, when you wake up, you realize you would rather feel in real life than in fiction.
How we spend our time and money speaks volumes about how awakened we are. You will no longer want to waste money on things that do not improve your life. You will no longer want to waste time on activities that do not bring you joy. Your time is too precious, your soul is drawn to things that are good for it.
Your eating habits will improve
When you become spiritually awake, all of life becomes precious and you may decide to stop eating meat, soft white bread, processed foods, etc. Or you may become obsessed with organic food and not want to put anything grown with pesticides into your body.

Your body is a temple and we only get one. Taking better care of it with proper nutrition is one of the signs that you are on the path to spiritual awakening.
As you become more awakened, you will crave bad things less and less because you respect and appreciate your body like never before.
Since better nutrition benefits not only your body, but also your mind and soul, this is another sign that your higher self is encouraging you to do things that are good for your soul. This is the curtain effect; what you put into your body eventually makes its way into your mind and then into your soul.
You will intensely search for your life purpose.
Your life purpose is the reason you are here, it is what lies behind the whole meaning of life. It is a personal thing for everyone. If you are consciously searching for a deeper meaning and have a strong desire to fulfill a specific purpose, this is a sign of spiritual awakening.
Personally, I believe that your life purpose is the main reason for a spiritual awakening, because without it, there is nothing to awaken to. Knowing the true nature of reality is great, but what you do with that information is what gives life meaning.
If you don't know your life purpose, you are just sailing along the path that others will set for you. Living your life purpose is the essence of awakening. It is the only way to achieve inner peace.
This doesn't mean that your life purpose has to be a specific career, it's more general than that. Think of it more as a theme for your life or a way you want to change the world or a way you want to help people.
You will appreciate nature more
We are nature personified, so disconnecting from it will feel like torture when you wake up.
You will want to be in nature, watching the sunrise, sunset, beautiful flowering meadows, mighty trees... You will appreciate every living creature in this world because you know the interconnectedness of everything.
Spending time in nature gives you experiences that, as you probably already know, are more precious than things. You will appreciate the earth's magnetism, the connection with nature that strengthens and calms the nervous system, the oxygen that helps your cells produce energy in the first place and is crucial for creating a biofield, and the light that you absolutely need for the processes that maintain health and vitality.
Holistic well-being is the essence of living in harmony with nature. People who follow the natural rhythms of nature are healthier and happier. You will naturally gravitate towards such a lifestyle if you are spiritually awakened, as spirituality and nature are deeply connected.
You will perfect your relationships
Being involved in toxic relationships is a sign that you are not spiritually awakened. Once you begin the awakening process, you will no longer want to be surrounded by drama, gossip, cheating, lying, competition, jealousy, control, and all of those negative traits that plague toxic relationships.
This can apply to family members as well as friends and acquaintances. Just because someone is related to you does not mean they are automatically healthy for you. Part of spiritual awakening is realizing this important truth.
You will find that you are going through a major shift in mindset; from wanting to be liked by others to wanting to find others who like you.
It is important to understand the difference.
It's no longer about trying to impress people; you no longer care what people think. Your ego wants to be liked, but the real you only wants a real connection with someone who is good for your soul.
This is the stage where people become very lonely. It is also known as the hermit stage of spiritual awakening. You would rather be alone than with most of the people you know.
You may get lonely sometimes, but the difference is that instead of breaking down and hanging out with people who aren't right for you, you're pushing for the right connection. Solitude is healing, and you can't get enough of it.
If you let this stage progress further, you will find that eventually you are not lonely at all. I compare this to the stage where a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. This is a crucial stage because it not only allows you time to go within, to truly know yourself, but it also prevents you from getting involved with the wrong people.
If you can be completely happy with yourself, then you have finally become a person who will not settle for being unhappy with anyone else.
