Why do we need pain in life?

Can you imagine a flat, empty, boring highway from Portugal to Hungary, where you drive day and night, and a little bit of the second day.... The flat road tires you out, there is nothing to stimulate your heart, nor your brain, you experience nothing because you don't stop anywhere.

- all that matters to you is that you reach your goal - and it doesn't matter in what condition.

This journey takes a good day, but most people are already on autopilot for their entire lives. They rush, they work to pay their bills and survive. They don't have time to enjoy and perceive life, they just rush and hope to get to the end more or less alive. They don't like anything to disturb their rhythm. They feel safe in their constant state and don't think about anything changing it anytime soon. Life flows and comes to...from the perspective of the soul...a repetition of life, which we may "do right" this time.

But there are people who have had enough of everything in one day. Their everyday life, their never-ending job, their eternal family rituals, and the company of friends who talk about what someone said on TikTok, start to tire them out. They decide to turn off the path and take a winding - hilly road, discovering who they are not or what they actually are. What adventures does a hilly, winding road with side roads offer, offering beautiful views, crystal clear rivers, interesting ancient sights, unforgettable experiences that are offered to them, and the path is full of love and gratitude for the experience..

I went back to parables.

Despite all their desire for adventure, for fulfilling a mission, for experiences, for discovering who they really are, new realizations come that throw them off balance. Their energy finally begins to move, like a turbulent sea that discovers new and new paths.

It is painful to become a version of ourselves that we do not yet know. It is all similar to metamorphosis. The development of a caterpillar into a butterfly. The transformation is painful, from survival to life can also be a painful experience and the whole thing can also be unbearable. And yet something forces us to do it. And yet we would like to take steps forward. Even though so many cupboards open in a cluttered room.

Pain occurs when everything we have repressed - somewhere deep within - begins to open up. Parts of us that we previously did not acknowledge begin to open up.

Wounds and scars begin to be revealed, and all of this has come to light for one reason: to heal it, to discover who you are, and transform yourself into the version of yourself you want to live.

Pain in life also comes when we don't move from our place , when we persist on the path despite the fact that it is our worst choice. At that time, the energy literally gets stuck, the chakras, which are like vortexes of energy, get clogged and the import of energy into these areas is prevented. Pain occurs on an emotional, mental or physical level. Illness or injury occurs. If we can see life as energy, vibrations, frequencies,... then we can perceive that due to the desire for the permanent, there is an energy stagnation and instead of us traveling through the experience of life, life begins to change us.

So, pain can occur for two reasons. One is rapid and concrete growth. The rush to learn and master everything as quickly as possible.

The second is stagnation, the stagnation of the species, when all the lights are already on and flashing, warning that if there is no change, everything will fall apart.

When it comes to one extreme or another, the worst thing is to shift the responsibility onto others or even onto life itself. It is important to look at life as an outside observer or reach out to someone who can help us with this - to see another perspective and allow ourselves to see differently. In times of pain and painful change, it is important to allow ourselves to deeply heal spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.

In any case, I recommend balance. When you start awakening in any area: physical, emotional, mental or spiritual, some people stand still, others go wild. But balance is important.

That's when it's best to do a thorough review of everything and make a plan, vision and strategy for action. That's when it's important to simultaneously dedicate ourselves to the body, emotions, thoughts and soul. That's when it's important to understand the workings of female and male energy and find someone who will stand by our side. It can be a friend. It can be a mentor. Sometimes even a child (yes, you read that right). Allow yourself to have a hand guiding you.

Don't push yourself in one direction or the other at the very beginning. Just let life happen.
